Prestwold Hall wedding

Charlotte and Andy chose to get married in the same church where Charlotte’s parents and grandparents married at years before. Renovated after a fire, the Cotgrave church was a bright space, unusual for most churches of this size.

With a bold red lip, Charlotte wore a stunning, simple gown by Rembo Styling, with gorgeous lace detail. Choosing a traditional look – the flowers were a beautiful mix of whites and greens, with hints of blue, using thistle – the flower of Scotland, and a nod to Andy’s heritage. Andy and his groomsmen all wore matching navy suits, with Andy sporting a tartan bow tie.

Prestwold Hall is a stunning wedding venue, with incredible gardens to roam around in. Charlotte and Andy’s Prestwold Hall wedding took place at the beginning of October, which meant that all of the dahlias were still in bloom in the Prestwold Hall gardens. A real treat and the perfect backdrop to their wedding photos.

About Prestwold Hall

Prestwold Hall is a historic country house located in the village of Prestwold in Leicestershire, England. The hall was originally built in the 16th century but has undergone numerous renovations and additions over the years, resulting in a unique blend of architectural styles.

One of the most significant periods of renovation occurred in the 18th century, when the hall was extensively remodeled in the Georgian style. During this time, a number of new features were added to the property, including a grand entrance hall and a stunning library.

In the early 20th century, the hall was acquired by the Packe family, who lived there for several decades before it was sold to a private owner. Today, the hall is primarily used as an event venue, hosting weddings, corporate events, and other gatherings throughout the year. In addition to its architectural and historical significance, Prestwold Hall is also known for its beautiful grounds, which feature landscaped gardens, woodlands, and a lake.
