Stubton Hall wedding – Alex & Will

It’s always a pleasure to be back at Stubton Hall – this time for Alex and Will’s late summer wedding. Alex and Will both got ready at Stubton Hall, making use of their beautiful spaces. They chose to get married at the incredible Southwell Minster, before returning to Stubton to continue their wedding celebrations.

Alex and Will went for a classic wedding look. The groomsmen wore tuxedos and bow ties, and the bridesmaids looked stunning in their champagne coloured gowns, which complimented their grand surroundings. Following on with the classic theme, Alex chose whites and greens for her flowers, which gave the reception room a real wow factor.

Stubton Hall wedding venue

Stubton Hall is a beautiful Grade II listed country house located in the village of Stubton, Nottinghamshire, England. The building dates back to the 19th century and was originally built for Reverend Robert Thoroton. The hall has undergone several renovations and restorations over the years and now serves as a luxury wedding and events venue.

The hall features stunning architecture, including a grand entrance hall with a sweeping staircase, ornate ceilings, and elegant chandeliers. There are several beautifully decorated reception rooms, including a lounge, a bar, and a drawing room, which can accommodate up to 200 guests. The hall has 25 individually designed guest rooms too, each with its own unique character and charm.

Surrounded by countryside, it’s the perfect spot for an idyllic wedding weekend. The grounds of Stubton Hall are equally impressive, with 23 acres of landscaped gardens, a lake, and a woodland area. Stubton Hall’s extensive gardens provide the perfect backdrop for the couple’s portraits. We got lucky on the weather front for Alex and Will’s wedding, too, as the sun shone all day for them. Stubton Hall weddings never fail to deliver!

All in all, Stubton Hall is a stunning venue with a rich history and beautiful surroundings. Every wedding at Stubton Hall is memorable and completely unique, and this was certainly the case for Alex and Will’s wedding.
